Neurodiversity-affirming assessment · British Columbia
Shifting the lens to neurodivergent affirming care.
Neurodivergent-affirming psychological assessment, care and consultation for children, adolescents, and adults — serving clients across British Columbia and based in New Westminster, BC.
Welcome — I am glad you are here. Whether you are seeking answers for yourself, your child, or a family member, I am here to help. 🙂
I provide comprehensive psychological assessments and consultation services for children, adolescents, and adults (all ages: 0 to adult).
What does "neurodivergent-affirming" mean? I have spent years of my life on that very question and wrote my doctoral dissertation on it. The study involved interviewing autistic people about the care they've received in the past, discussing what past caring professionals did that was helpful or harmful. As a neurodivergent psychologist, my life experience is woven into my answer. Read my dissertation and join the discussion here.
Whether you are seeking answers, greater self-understanding, practical guidance, or access to supports and accommodations, we will work together to better understand your unique strengths, challenges, and support needs.
My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, collaborative, and individualized — recognizing that assessment is about understanding how a person's brain works rather than focusing on deficits. Together, we will identify meaningful recommendations that promote well-being, self-understanding, and success at home, school, work, and in everyday life.

My commitment to inclusive, affirming care
I strive to provide neurodiversity-affirming, culturally responsive, and 2SLGBTQIA+ safe care. I approach each client as a whole person, recognizing the unique interplay of identity, lived experience, strengths, and support needs. My practice is grounded in respect, collaboration, and compassion.
I am committed to creating a space that affirms and welcomes individuals from historically and systemically marginalized communities — including, but not limited to, neurodivergent, 2SLGBTQIA+, Indigenous, racialized, and disabled people, as well as those with intersecting identities.
I acknowledge that meaningful inclusion requires continual reflection, learning, and change. I am dedicated to growing alongside the communities I serve and evolving my practice in ways that honour their voices, dignity, and autonomy.
